Here’s what we offer:
  • Physiotherapy services

At KEO, our goal is to help your residents remain as strong and independent as possible.

    Services include:

    • Resident assessments and care evaluations
    • Acute and post-acute therapy and rehabilitation
    • Falls risk reduction and management
    • Pressure injury prevention and management
    • Equipment reviews and auditing
    • Functional skill retraining

We can also provide additional services, depending on your facility’s needs.

  • Pain management program (PMP)

Studies show that up to 86% of residents in aged care experience pain on a regular basis. This negatively impacts their physical, social and emotional wellbeing.

At KEO, we provide quality pain management interventions that are tailored to each individual’s care needs.

This may include therapeutic massage, passive movements and stretching, and strengthening exercises.

  • ACFI optimisation

At KEO, we know ACFI inside-out. And we’re keen to help your facility optimise funding – so that you can achieve what you’re entitled to and deliver even higher quality care.

Submitting an ACFI claim can be complex and time-consuming. That’s why many facilities fail to receive or uphold funding they’re entitled to.

As your partner, we’ll work collaboratively with you to secure and optimise your ACFI funding.

  • Education & training

We educate, train and offer practical guidance to aged care staff on specialised areas of allied health.

Tailored to your facility, our sessions improve staff performance, address skill gaps and create better outcomes for residents.

All workshops are run by our experienced physiotherapists, occupational therapists and speech pathologists. Some topics include falls prevention strategies, pressure area care and seating, introduction to massage and safe swallowing management.

  • Manual handling training

Our skilled physiotherapists provide manual handling training to ensure the safety of both staff and residents.

These sessions ensure safe work practices to prevent risks and injuries.

Applicable to both clinical and non-clinical staff, our manual handling training packages
    include:

    • Full competency-based training
    • Annual manual handling refresher training
  • Other allied health services

We offer a range of other services to facilities and their residents that fall outside the formal contract arrangement.

This includes occupational therapy and speech pathology – as well as private physiotherapy consultations for residents who require additional treatments.

We also run exercise classes specifically designed to meet the needs and preferences of your residents. These may include Body Balance, Tai Chi, functional strengthening and mindfulness.
