The Opportunity

The role of the Paediatric Speech Pathologist provides support to children aged 0-18 years in the community, working towards their developmental goals and determining the best solutions to meet their needs. You will have access and support to some of the greatest minds in allied health accompanied by a large team of experts in the same clinical area to assist you in reaching your goals to support your participants.  

With Hubs all over Melbourne, have the chance to work close to home, with the option of visiting one of our vibrant hubs which is always full of clinicians collaborating, learning, and connecting while working towards common goals. 

Your role as a Paediatric Speech Pathologist at KEO will include:

  • Providing high-quality Speech Pathology services, such as diagnosing, treating, and preventing speech, language, and swallowing disorders
  • Assessing participants with a diverse range of disabilities relating to physical, cognitive, or sensory impairment.
  • Deliver therapy and manage a realistic clinical caseload
  • Complete comprehensive assessments and produce quality reports for submission to funding bodies like NDIS with support from administration and our report review team
  • Attend regular and structured 1:1 clinical supervision
  • Access to a team of multidisciplinary therapists, drawing on additional skills & knowledge
  • Opportunity to mentor and coach other therapists
  • Attend team huddles, discipline specific and multidisciplinary case conference, and coffee club each week

Our ideal candidate will have:

  • Bachelor of Speech Pathology or higher
  • 2-3 + years experience as a Speech Pathologist
  • Registered SPA
  • National Police Check
  • A driver’s license & access to a car
  • A Victorian Working with Children’s Check
  • NDIS Worker Screening Check
  • A passion for making a difference
  • Great communication skills
  • Great organisation & time management skills
  • The ability to work independently as well as in a team
